The Ausdance skill set for Teaching Dance
Expression of Interest
The Ausdance skill set for Teaching Dance is a short course. It provides dancers with the skills and teaching strategies needed to successfully teach dance in community, recreational and social settings (including schools). Those who complete the course will receive a Statement of Attainment which is nationally recognised. This course is delivered through State and Territory-based Ausdance offices.
The course involves approximately 70 contact hours and the investment for Ausdance members is $1,350 with payment instalment options negotiable.
Subject to sufficient enrolments, we plan to deliver the first intensive block 26-29 September, 2010 and a second block (or initial block) 16-22 January, 2011. Dates will be selected to best suit the enrolled participants. Approximately 10 days are required to deliver the face to face components of the course.
