SEET DANCE—Ballet & Contemporary Dance Classes Coming Potts Point
 
Charemaine Seet is expanding her dance school and is now opening up her own studio
in Potts Point on Victoria Street.

Vic Street Studio will open up during the first week of February 2011 and offer ballet
and contemporary dance for children, teens and adults. The salon style studio will be beautiful and
will be equipped with mirrors and ballet barres. It is a 5-minute walk from the Kings Cross Train station.
 
Charemaine’s contemporary dance style was developed in London and New York City—a postmodern mix of contemporary
dance technique with Capoeira and Hip Hop. Her Ballet classes are non-competitive and focus on
fostering a love of dance and music.
 
Charemaine has a successful international career — she’s been a soloist and principal dancer in dance companies in London
and New York and performed internationally--the Queen Elizabeth Hall, the Royal Opera House
in Covent Garden, the Joyce Theatre NYC and the Brooklyn Academy of Music. In her teaching, she draws on
the real-world training and techniques from her performance career. She has taught dance for 12 years.
