Fellow dancer and bodyworker Angela Hill is offering Myofascial Release & Structural Bodywork in Crows Nest at a discounted rate for dancers.
Myofascial Release and Structural Bodywork are both methods of connective tissue massage which works with fascia, the covering of all muscles, tendons and ligaments. Connective tissue is organized in response to gravity, habitual movement patterns, stress and trauma. By gently lengthening and balancing fascia we are assisting the body to achieve greater ease in function and vitality. Myofascial release can help break up tissue adhesions, increase energy, improve range of motion and alignment and help with stress and pain management. It can also help to improve overall body awareness. Sessions include an element of movement education for integration and repatterning.
With my fourteen years of professional dance experience, I have a special interest in the needs of dancers. I also understand their economic constraints which is why I am offering a special rate.
