Award-winning, internationally acclaimed, contemporary dance theatre company Force Majeure return to CarriageWorks 17 - 27 November 2010 with a world première their new work Not In A Million Years.
Created by the company’s renowned artistic leaders Kate Champion, Roz Hervey and Geoff Cobham with a diverse cast of performers featuring Vincent Crowley, Sarah Jayne Howard, Elizabeth Ryan and Joshua Tyler, Not In A Million Years is an insightful, intense and visually arresting dance theatre performance based on true stories of people in situations of extreme odds and the subsequent life changing aftermath.
Do these events make us question our own abilities to cope and endure? Are we inspired, or rendered inferior by such ‘once in a lifetime’ experiences?
Not In A Million Years will use Force Majeure’s trademark synthesis of fluid movement, images, and words to create a window into these extraordinary events, exploring the myriad thoughts, opinions and sensations of life lived in moments of extreme circumstance.
