MARNIE PALOMARES

Marnie trained at the University of Western Sydney. In 2004 she performed Hidden Revealed (Bernadette Walong) and inasmuch (Jason Pitt). In 2005 Marnie assisted in choreography for Drill (Stompin Youth Dance Company) and in 2006 performed in Moliere’s The Bourgeois Gentleman (STC directed by Jean-Pierre Mignon). From 2006-2008 she performed Honour Bound (Directed by Nigel Jamison, Choreographed by Garry Stewart) in Australia, Europe and London. In 2007/2008 she performed This show is about people (Shaun Parker) and Back from front (Dean Walsh).
In 2009 Marnie performed Tenebrae III with The Song Company (Shaun Parker/Roland Peelman) and since 2009 has performed Mortal Engine (Chunky move) in Australia and abroad. This year Marnie has performed Happy as Larry (Shaun Parker) throughout Australia and is involved in upcoming works including Sweat (Branch Nebula), Monkeybird (Jason Pitt) and a new development Signal (Antony Hamilton).
Marnie teaches at numerous performing arts schools, high schools and universities in Sydney. Her choreographic credits include Chapter One for Pulse8 Dance Company in 2008, Physical Fracture for Sydney Festival First Night 2009 and Night.Time for QL2 Centre for Youth Dance in 2010.
