Ausdance Queensland is pleased to call for applications for:-
Bell Tower Choreographic Laboratory Project.
Interstate and Queensland artists are welcome to apply.
The Choreographic Lab will provide a unique professional development opportunity for five experienced dancers. The mentors are: Rosetta Cook, Jacqui Carroll and Brian Lucas. Lab supervisor: Vanessa Mafe-Keane.
Many emerging artists spend a great deal of their early practice re-inventing the wheel. Dates: Oct 24 – Nov 16 (lab sessions Mon-Thurs) + Showings 17 and 18 November
Participants will receive:
A stipend of $2000 and a 5 day intensive (in total) with each mentor and an opportunity to present.
Deadline for Expressions of Interest: 1st JULY
Criteria:
Dancers who have performed professionally in either a company or project-based context
Dancers who are making a serious transition into choreographic practice
