Chunky Move Audition
Chunky Move will hold public auditions for MALE dancers for the cast of Chunky Move’s, The Next Move production:
I Like This, created by Byron Perry and Antony Hamilton.
Auditions will take place at the Chunky Move Studios, in Melbourne, on Saturday 18 September and Sunday 19 September.
Applicants should be available for touring in February 2011.
Applications close at 5pm on Monday 13 September
Successful applicants will be notified by COB 14 September and will be required to be available for the complete audition period.

JUMP
Youth Arts Queensland (YAQ) have announced CarriageWorks and Melbourne Fringe as its new state partners in the delivery of JUMP, the national mentoring program for young and emerging artists. JUMP, funded by the Australia Council for the Arts, and managed nationally by YAQ, identifies and promotes excellence in artistic practice. As Australia's largest artist mentoring program, JUMP supports young artists across a wide range of artforms to develop a one-on-one relationship with an industry leader of their choice, to work with them on a creative project. Emotive Arts Dance Company is one of Australia’s most intuitive independent Contemporary Dance Companies. It’s influence has been seen in Creative Arts and Christian scenes, presenting works at Newtown’s ‘Bodies’ festival, Film Festivals, and Events like Project Dance and Fusion Australia.
We are looking for dancers to join our Company.
Our requirements are that the dancers are fully trained in Contemporary Dance and have background in other dancer styles.
You will be able to
-stay in shape, keep fit, work on your technique
-work on dance video productions
-contribute to the creative process in choreographing new works.
-participate in social events
