üBERgroover.tv
is an original, independent, Australian production which revolutionises how we perceive dance and spreads the spirit of groove by delivering compelling video entertainment via an interactive website:

www.ubergroover.tv

The show includes everyday people sharing their stories and favourite moves, comedic elements inspiring groove into everyday situations and informative segments exploring alternative dance forms, dance culture and dance facts. Tribal T - the host - connects people to their tribal dancing roots, goes on a hunt to get more Aussie men dancing and explores how far she can take the tagline "Why move when you can groove?". We use mostly independent Australian music in our episodes, to promote our homegrown talent.

Audiences can create grooves that represent modern Australian culture through "groovemaker", a tool which incorporates the latest online interactive technology.

It allows anyone to combine dance-moves and music, using their web browser, to choreograph their own routines. There is also a blog which supplements the webisodes and a forum where dance-lovers can discuss topics like: what's your ultimate finishing move in a dance-off?

"üBERgroover.tv fuses user created content with professional production values and interactive tools to provide immersive entertainment; a perfect recipe, considering viewers are getting tired of watching stand-alone amateur content, but still wanting to show themselves off", says its creator Tina Lymberis. "Viewers hold the future of propelling Australian dance culture in
the click of their mouse."

Our mission: to propel the evolution of dance by creating grooves that represent modern Australian culture.
