Dance Teacher professional development workshop
Performance and composition workshop 2008
Stella Maris College in collaboration with Pulse8 Manly Dance Theatre invite dance teachers to experience a weekend intensive practical dance workshop aimed at enhancing current dance teachers performance and composition skills.
The Intensive weekend will focus on developing and experiencing practical tasks using current industry professionals. Tutors will explore phrases, combinations and sequencing skills , explore and challenge the way we apply interpretation and discover new forms of choreographic exploration . In addition participants will receive a DVD teaching resource as a teaching reference to apply in class.
The dance intensive will take place on the weekend of April 5th and 6th from 9am—3pm. For those participants who are staying in Manly you will be able to take advantage of the beautiful setting with afternoon beach walks and wonderful dining experiences along the Manly beach foreshore.
