Announcing Dance Shed's first showing of 2009

Now calling for choreographers (emerging or established) to submit work (in progress) for informal showing and feedback

Closing date: 9th of January - to give time for adequate peer feedback, a limited number of works can be shown so respond soon as the call is open and first come/first served

Four more Dance Shed gatherings will follow bi-monthly throughout 2009 on the 2nd or 3rd Sunday of the month in March, May, July, September (details TBD and coming soon!)

Dance Shed is also seeking proposals of interest for artists to lead sessions in a workshop/exchange series called "Tinkering in the Shed". Share your choreographic approaches with your peers in an informal setting (on a volunteer basis) before each Dance Shed Showing. 
If you are interested please respond with a short biography and a paragraph description of the workshop or exchange that you would like to propose and the month that best suits you. 

Dance Shed is an artist run initiative founded in mid-2008 to provide a vehicle for peer showing and feedback sessions to Sydney dance artists. It is the mission of Dance Shed to give witness to works in progress (at any stage) from emerging and established choreographers.
