DANCE MASSIVE
DANCEHOUSE is pleased to announce they we will once again be teaming up with their partners at Arts House, Malthouse Theatre and Ausdance Victoria to present DANCE MASSIVE 2011, to be presented from March 15 - 27, 2011.
Now is the time to put your hat in the ring, get your work seen and send it in to Dancehouse as they start the process of looking for outstanding independent Australian dance works to present in DANCE MASSIVE 2011.
Each DANCE MASSIVE venue (Arts House, Malthouse Theatre, Dancehouse) is responsible for selecting works for its own part of the program and those works are coordinated and promoted within the overall program. If you are interested in the programs of the other venues, please contact them directly.
This is not a formal application process. But Dancehouse wants to hear about your work.
Dancehouse is interested in hearing from Australian independent choreographers and dance groups from all states and territories with a good track record and/or amazing new ideas for creating and presenting cutting-edge dance to audiences both in theatres and in non-conventional settings. Get in touch with Dancehouse and present your ideas and they'll see if they can get your work in this growing Australian contemporary dance event.
