and dance artists across all cultural practices at any stage of their professional career. Our aim is to
support YOU realise your own research aims and objectives, and to achieve YOUR potential.
Do you have concerns about making a proposal? Do you think it may take too much time out of
your practice? Are you unsure if it will benefit you? Then you may need to read the
new Responsive Program Guide Booklet.

This guide addresses common questions and issues around the Responsive Program and making a
proposal, such as "What is Research?", "Who can apply?", "Do I need to be writing the proposal in an
academic language?", "How do I know my proposal is a research project and not creative
development?" The guide booklet also includes testimonials/comments from past participants which we
hope will give you a better idea of the various possibilities there are, and thereby bring you a few steps
closer to your goals! The Responsive Proposals Guide booklet is available on our website, or you can
contact Critical Path for a copy. Our intention for creating this booklet is to inspire you to begin writing
your proposal today!
