Connect Sydney
Free Intensive Winning Grants Training
Connect Sydney is an initiative by the City of Sydney which aims to build the capacity of community organisations through the provision of free governance training to build their skills. It also aims to provide an opportunity for a wide variety of organisations to network and share their experiences. The City of Sydney Council hosted a training workshop on how to write successful and effective grants submissions in 2009, due to popular demand, we will offer the training again this year.
In this workshop you will be provided with the tools to write successful submissions for any grant, a critical skill within any community organisation.
This workshop will help you to:
* Effectively present your proposal
* Develop an organisational template
* Determine the best grants for your project
* Write a proposal i.e. style, treatment, content
* Tailor your proposals to multiple grantmakers
* Develop winning project plans and realistic budgets
* Meet different requirements from different sources
