Chunky Move are known for their distinct and unpredictable genre-defying dance productions. They return to Sydney direct from the 2010 Venice Biennale with their groundbreaking and internationally renowned work, GLOW. A collaboration with the legendary interactive software creator Frieder Weiss Glow utilises a sophisticated video tracking system, which is manipulated in real time by the dancer making each performance unique. Featuring the latest in multi-media technology this Helpmann Award-winning production will light up the Seymour Centre for four nights only from Wed 13 – Sat 16 October 2010. More info here
GLOW will form part of SEAM 2010. Run by Critical Path, Sydney’s choreographic research centre, and the University of Western Sydney, this two-day symposium will focus on interactive digital technologies in performance. Click here for more info.
