Job Title: Administration Internship

Ausdance NSW seeks an enthusiastic, hard working and eager University Intern to work one day a week and provide administrative support to the Marketing Coordinator.

Ideally the Intern will be studying ‘Arts Admin’ or ‘Marketing’ with an interest in the Arts.  The Intern will posses strong administration skills and will be confident in working with all Microsoft Office Programs. 

The period of the Internship is subject to negotiation however the Intern will be required to carry out a minimum of 6 weeks (6 days).  The Intern will be based at the Ausdance NSW office at Pier 4, The Wharf, Walsh Bay.

The Intern will work with the Marketing Coordinator to provide the following administrative tasks but is not limited to: 
•    Update Dance industry distribution lists.
•    Research the latest news in the Dance industry and opportunities for members.
•    Create a calendar of dance and other relevant events.
•    Regularly update the Ausdance NSW Facebook page with news, events and photos.
•    Update the Ausdance NSW website directory including Dance Space and Dance Classes – www.ausdancensw.com.au
•    Provide support for special projects and events such as the Australian Youth Dance Festival, presenting in 2011.
