Angela Hill and Andre Hayter of AH Squared will present an interactive performance/installation in the Willoughby Spring Festival 9-12 of September and Sydney Fringe Festival 17-20 of September.
AH Squared's Little SIS is a cutting edge and family friendly performance/installation work at the intersection of community, embodiment and interactive technology. Using interaction to both observe and influence group behaviour, "Little SIS" works as a social interaction system, encouraging movement and changing spatial relationships as participants are tracked with a video camera and the data is translated into algorithmically generated sound and visuals.The work also incorporates a DIY sound creation website and creative dance workshops for the whole family.
Joining Angela Hill with improvisational dance performances throughout the run of Little SIS will be Ryuichi Fujimura, Tamarah Tossey and a very special guest.
