SAVION GLOVER
Savion Glover is widely acknowledged as the world’s greatest tap dancer. He has redefined the genre, taking it way beyond its old-fashioned image, adapting it to the rhythms of contemporary jazz and hip-hop. Glover has performed on everything from P Diddiy music videos to Sesame Street, and he even lent his feet to Mumble, the tap-dancing penguin in Happy Feet.

Glover makes his Australian premiere in Bare Soundz - showing as part of Spring Dance 2010, presented by Sydney Opera House in partnership with SONY.
In Bare Soundz, Glover, with Marshall Davis Jnr, and Maurice Chestnut engage in a six-footed game - tapping out a bass rhythm with one foot and then simultaneously overlaying complex riffs with the other.
